All Is Well That Ends Well!!

All of my adult life I have felt bad or lazy because I am a procrastinator. I knew in my soul I wasnt lazy but it "seemed" I was because I wasnt a planner. Planning is just not my thing!!

I get things done, just in my own time. Right on time!!! 89% of the time I make it!!!!

Frank Lloyd Wright

The great American architect designed his most famous house at the age of 67—in two hours. Wealthy Pittsburgh businessman Edgar Kaufmann Sr. commissioned Wright to create Fallingwater, a house in rural Pennsylvania, in 1934. Wright visited the site in November and wrote to Kaufmann assuring him that he had been working on the plans, but had not actually drawn a thing.

So imagine Wright’s surprise when Kaufmann called him at home early on Sunday morning, on September 22, 1935, to announce that he would be visiting before lunch, and couldn’t wait to see the design. Wright calmly finished breakfast and, while a group of extremely nervous apprentices looked on, drew the plans in the time it took Kaufmann to drive up from Pittsburgh. This time the procrastination paid off: Fallingwater was listed as National Historic Landmark in 1966, and is listed among Smithsonian’s Life List of 28 places “to visit before you die.”

Enhanced life

Hello Friends,

it's been a while, I lost my mojo of writing so I haven't' been on here in a while. I am trying to find new ways to entertain myself because my old habits and joys are slowly fading away. I guess I'm growing. I know as we get older we out grow things, styles, friends and some trends, but it is very disturbing and confusing when it actually happens. I feel like I have to revamp my whole life.

My children are getting older and into more activities so that keeps me busy physically but mentally I need something for ME. I tried enrolling in Kaplan, I completed a couple semesters, but that wasn't it. I think I need some self improvement courses, self enhancing classes, like dancing, painting, cooking or something like that.

Remember a year a two ago, I felt that way and my sis and I joined Zumba classes. lmmfao!!!! It surely fulfilled the job of stopping the curiosity I had, lol.

When you feel like you need something new to do, a new routine and new thing, what do you do?
